Following the community consultation, which we reported in our February Noosa 360 update, we have been advised by Airservices Australia (ASA) that the final report for the Post Implementation Review (PIR) has now been completed. Furthermore, they provided the following in writing:
We received 524 submissions during the public comment period on the Draft Report. A separate report providing a summary of the feedback received on the draft PIR report and our response to each point raised is also available to view through the below links.
The final report identifies 26 community, industry, and Airservices recommendations that will progress for further assessment (further design, safety and environmental assessments, and community and industry engagement) prior to any decision to implement a change is made.
The publishing of the final PIR report concludes the Sunshine Coast Airport Flight Path Changes PIR.
We look forward to engaging further with community stakeholders during implementation of the PIR recommendations.
