Following concerns from local business owners regarding an increase in smoking and vaping usage near shop entrances and the lack of ‘no smoking’ signs, we have been provided below by the Sunshine Coast Public Health Unit:
Queensland Health provides signage to help the community understand where they can and cannot smoke and vape.
The size and material of the signage is designed to suit where it will be located.

In relation to Building entrances. No smoking signs help remind people not to smoke or vape within 5 metres of a building entrance. They are available in an A4 plastic sign (1M233634), A5 indoor window sticker (1M233894) and A5 outdoor window sticker (1M233895).
You can call Queensland Government call centre Tel No 13 QGOV (13 74 68) to order your free signs and stickers.
Should residents wish to report a breach of the smoking or tobacco laws they can call 13 QGOV or utilise the form mentioned in the following Queensland Health websites.
