The Aircraft Noise Ombudsman (ANO) has advised they have completed their report on Airservices Australia’s introduction of new flight paths at the Sunshine Coast and submitted their Investigation into complaints about the introduction of new flight paths in Sunshine Coast report to the Board of Airservices Australia, including formal recommendations for improving Airservices’ community engagement framework and practices. It is now going through relevant processes for submission to the Airservices Board, however, due to the unprecedented effect COVID-19 has had on the aviation industry the timeframe for the Board’s consideration is uncertain. The ANO cannot release the report until the Board has responded, but will endeavour to provide monthly updates. We will advise of the outcome of this report as soon as further information is received.
