𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐃𝐀𝐘 2024 🌹🕊 Every year at 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month, we pause in silence for 1 minute to acknowledge, honour and remember. The Tewantin Noosa RSL Sub Branch held a beautiful service for those who never came home, and for those who returned bearing visible, and invisible, scars they carried for life. It was an honour to speak, release a peace dove 🕊and gather afterwards with our veterans and their families to give personal hugs of gratitude and love 💗 Thank you to our subbranch team, all in attendance including Mayor Frank and Councillors Amelia, Jess and Nicola, to fellow speakers and wreath layers, and most of all, our veterans 🙏 You are so loved.To honour and acknowledge their sacrifices, we must every day strive to be the best we can, and never take for granted the freedoms they fought for. So impressed were the judges with all youth nominees that they created the Youth Encouragement Award to inspire our next generation of eco-warriors to continue their work. 🌱👏 Phil Moran -Environmental Steward Award for his decades of conservation work in Noosa. It has been very much an ‘edge of seat’ election 🤼, and no doubt everyone is excited and working hard in readiness for the first Parliamentary sitting!
