Noosa National Park currently has $2M in funding announced by former Minister, the Honourable Steven Miles MP, allocated to a number of infrastructure upgrade projects to be undertaken across the 2017 – 2019 financial years
• Current projects include upgrades and improvements to existing infrastructure and over the existing footprints.
These include upgrades to: Tea Tree Bay Toilets, Noosa Day Use Area, Laguna Lookout, the Southern section of the Noosa Coastal Walking Track and other internal tracks
• It is normal practice for consultation (where required) to be directed with key stakeholders including: the Kabi Kabi People (Aboriginal Native Title Claimants), Noosa Tourism, Noosa Parks Association (NPA), Sunshine Coast Environment Council (SCEC), Noosa Council, Sunshine Coast Council, other relevant government agencies and/or the immediate neighbours who may live very close to works
• The identified key stakeholders are deemed to provide views of a representative cross-section of the community
