The Combined Government and Business Forum was themed on Infrastructure and Investment, and I took my 10 minutes to raise that ‘elephant’ – affordable accommodations, and what the proposed ‘4th industrial revolution’ could do to current and future housing stress. Thank you to all fellow speakers including our panel Andrew Wallace – LNP Federal Member for Fisher​, Tony Wellington​ and Professor Greg Hill who brought a range of the realities we are faced with, and to attendees who asked the pertinent questions. To Sandy Zubrinich and the Sunshine Coast Business Council​, congratulations on hosting this event, as it is vital to have forums that spark honest conversations. As I said in closing, “May within this room today, there be the innovation, will and commitment, to act now”.
